Before joining RentGrow, Mr. Silverman was a Founder and Principal in St. James Mortgage Company, a Fannie Mae-approved residential mortgage banker. From 1991 to 1994, he directed and implemented the company’s retail expansion into Massachusetts and New Hampshire and managed operations in those states. In 2002, he became a founding non-executive director of Leader Bank in Arlington, MA. Mr. Silverman graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 1985 with an AB in Mathematics. He is currently the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. In 1991, Mr. Silverman earned the degree of Master of Science in Management, with a concentration in Finance, from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA. Michael Stein | Pensam Capital | President and Founder | With over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate investment and structured finance sectors, Michael has been involved in over $10 billion of equity and debt real estate transactions. Prior to founding Pensam in 2009, Michael was a partner in Miami-based Aztec Group, which invested in commercial, multi-housing, and hospitality transactions. He began his real estate career in 1990 with CB Richard Ellis in Miami. Michael is an active member of leading industry groups and councils such as the Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), CRE Finance Council (CREFC), Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA). Steven Vegh | Westwood Realty Associates | President | Steven Vegh is Founder and President of the well-known boutique firm in New York City, Westwood Realty Associates. Steven started his real estate career at GFI Capital focusing on the capital markets side of the business, with loans to owners and developers.
